I was recently online scrolling on Facebook and I saw a woman post that she was drinking this water called blk.
I recall seeing it in stores before, but I never questioned its color or it’s purported health benefits.
So I want to take some time to discuss what blk water is, what gives it its black color, and if its purported health benefits are worthy enough to buy into.

This week, I met with Sheila Minshall, Practice Representative of Katy Lifestyle Chiropractic.We had a great conversation about how KLC serves it takes care of its customer’s needs rather they be chiropractic, nutritionally, and spinal/posture testing.

Upbring Krause Children’s Center.

So I want to use this week’s post to breakdown what the ketogenic diet is, the good, the bad, and the ugly or beautiful.

A couple of months ago I was talking to a lady about nutrition and at some point the topic of probiotics came up. She told me that she had some type of gastrointestinal condition, she tired every type of probiotic, and it didn’t help aside from one individual strain (I forget the name) that was prescribed to her by a doctor.
In this post, we well investigate rather or not there is any health benefit to taking probiotics for healthy individuals or otherwise.

A few weeks ago, I was doing some shopping at Sur La Table at City Centre.
I meet a nice gentleman by the name of Stephen Reed.
Stephen represents Loam Argonomics, a local sustainable farming business located in Richmond, Texas.
Loam Argonomics has mulitple drop sites throughout the city of Houston, including Sur La Table, so you don’t have to travel all the way to their farm in Richmond to pick up your fresh produce and fruit!

Are you ever working, driving, or studying for a test, and you get so tired that you need to take a little nap, but after that snooze, you still feel like you don’t have enough energy to carry on. Next time you decide that you’re going to down a caffeinated beverage instead of the nap, but you feel like a zombie after and carry through with bloodshot eyes? An extensive research study was conducted to identify the type of obesity in different people. Scientists concluded that there are 2 forms of body fat distribution: android and gynoid.
Based on the results of that study, scientists suggested 6 types of body fat and ways burn fat in those areas.

Beware of what big cereal manufactures tell you what a proper breakfast is. Cereals are not the devil, but they may not be as healthy as we’ve been led to believe.
