Chris Walker – Former Speed Golf World Champion — DMP Fitness

Chris Walker, a retired professional golfer, is a former four-letter winner at The Woodlands High School including a 5a state championship in 2007, former member of the Notre Dame University golf team, and played mini tours professionally up until a few years ago.
Probably Chris’ biggest accomplishment of his golf career was winning the inaugural Speed Golf World Championship in 2012. Speed golf is a sport which involves playing a round of golf in the lowest possible sum of strokes and time (in minutes). Thus shooting 73 on a golf course in 58 minutes and 30 seconds would compute to an overall speed golf score of 131:30. Golf already requires flexibility, strength, power, muscle balance, and postural stability, but having to get through 18 holes add a dramatically increased cardiovascular component as well.
